Erdogan and Raisi Discuss Regional Issues
Presidents of Turkey and Iran Hold Talks
ANKARA, Jan 24 (Reuters) - Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said he and Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi agreed at a meeting on Wednesday on the need to enhance cooperation over regional issues, including Syria and Afghanistan.
Stronger Ties
Erdogan said the talks, which lasted for several hours, covered a wide range of issues, including trade, energy, and defense. He emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between the two countries, which share a common border and have a long history of cooperation.
