Former Vikings Defensive Back Faces Charges
Charges Stem from Incident in Indianapolis
Devon Hall, a former defensive back for the Minnesota Vikings, has been indicted by prosecutors in the Western Electric Battery (WEB) in connection with an incident that occurred in Indianapolis earlier this year.
According to the indictment, Hall is charged with battery resulting in bodily injury, criminal mischief, and resisting law enforcement. The charges stem from an altercation that allegedly took place outside a bar in downtown Indianapolis on January 15, 2023.
Hall, 25, was signed by the Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2021. He played in 16 games for the team before being released in August 2022.
The indictment is the latest development in a string of legal troubles for Hall. In 2021, he was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest in Minnesota. He was also arrested for driving under the influence in California in 2019.
Hall is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on March 8, 2023.
